Sora Savoie's Romania Files | Week 52 | Rain, Quotes, and Brunch

Madison Savoie

This week has been so rainy in Brasov. The fall weather is definitely upon us! Sora Simmons and I have been running around like crazy trying to find less-active members, get in touch with old friends, and share the message that we love so much. It's been crazy, but so much fun! Today we stopped off at this little cafe called Bistro l'Arte (which is one by one of the less-active members of the branch here in Brasov) and had the most amazing brunch!

It was a great little spot to stop by for something delicious, especially with the weather being so cold and rainy. Speaking of which....

Say hello to the new Brasov district! Well, everyone except for Elder Jacobson who is taking the picture. I absolutely love these missionaries and am so excited to serve with all of them. We have a goal this week to have 100 conversations, get 10 people to accept/listen to our message, and invite 1 to be baptized. So, we're going for 100-10-1. It'll be great! Honestly, with Sora Simmons, I don't think there will be anything that we can't do. This girl is on fire! I absolutely love her energy, her testimony, her positivity and her courage. She's inspires me and is one of my favorite companions and best friends.

Weekly Quote from General Conference

I absolutely love this quote can't wait to write about more of them next week! Something that I learned here in Romania is that sometimes, what you know is not nearly as powerful as what you feel. Oftentimes in life we take that for granted, but the way we believe, the way we trust, and the way we hope is so powerful. I love that, in this gospel, we can balance what we know with what we feel to help us progress and have joy every day of our lives.

That's all the time I have! Until next week! :)

cu drag,

Sora Savoie

(Hopefully next week I'll have the actual selfie!)
